I've just got a new computer, hooked up cold fusion mx server & flash remoting. I am finding that my DNS name (PAUL) or even localhost isn't working... the server will only show up if I enter the IP (127.0.0.1). This is obviously stuffing up some of the remoting apps I am trying to run on the server as I have them pointing to localhost and not the IP.
I'm running windows XP professional with all upgrades... super clean system as it is only brand new. Has anyone seen this problem before and have a remedy for this. The only thing I could put it down to was the google toolbar, but when I disable this it still doesn't make a difference. Thanks in advance.
