Hi Hilary, I've forwarded this to Mike for comment. In your case (WSAHS) we would probably offer the usual goverment discounts etc. Even at the price Mike mentions, this would be about 28 AU per desktop per year. For this you would get a transparent, automatic distribution mechanism for your desktop applications. At Andersen Consulting I spent most of my time working for big financial services clients and know how expensive it is to deploy and install application updates across a network of desktops (at the time, much much more than 28/desk/year). So while it would be nice if Central was free in this situation, I think there could still be a strong business case to put for using Central based just on the deployment case alone, (ignoring the development time-savings from using the Central Framework/API).
