I interpret 'commercial' to be software that is sold for a price. But since it's being developed inhouse for inhouse use, it will be freely distributed within the organisation for the organisation's personal use. And your applications certainly 'will not be listed in the on-board application directory known as the Macromedia Central Application Finder'.

"The Free, Noncommercial Deployment License is intended for the deployment
of applications that will not used for the purposes of generating revenues,
either directly or indirectly."

Applications like 'Movie Finder' will cetainly indirectly generate revenue. So who pays in that case? I don't know about you, I wouldn't pay.


IMO, inhouse applications are more about improving and organisations business processes. Improving business processes is a very very indirect way of generating revenue. In fact, when compared to 'Movie Finder', 'Movie Finder' is a very direct way of indirectly generating revenue (if that maskes sense?).
