I have heard of action script scramblers... they basically go through the code and turn all the variables into jibberish... e.g. "counter=1" turns into "kjhSDasdnu=1" Then when people go through the code it is a bit harder to decipher... Not sure where to get one though ... I havn't been that paranoid yet.

I have something called flare which is useful for finding code...

Hi all
I'm developing some drag and drop quizzes in flash. But I want to be
sure that users can't cheat.
Are you aware of any existing tools that may allow users to look at my
internal variables? These values will be loaded dynamically from a
database.

Thanks
Sebastian

There are tools that can convert a SWF file into an FLA file. Then from within Flash you can then debug the code and watch the value of variables as the file is run.

I find it hard to understand what type of quiz is so important that
someone would go to all that effort.

If you are really that concerned about cheating, you could try sending
the answers to the server for marking and return the results
