Following the
success of two Minas Basin Community Forums in Wolfville and Truro, the Bay
of Fundy Ecosystem Partnership (BoFEP) would like to inform you about its
upcoming Community Forum to be held in Parrsboro on Thursday April 18th
2002. This Forum will be co-hosted with Federation of Nova
Scotia Naturalists, Colchester Regional Economic Development Agency, Parrsboro
and District Board of Trade and the Shore Drive Community Development
Association. It will be held at Parrsboro Regional High School in
Parrsboro from 5pm to 9:30pm.
People living
around (or interesed in!) the Minas Basin are invited to attend!
The goal of the Forum is to encourage wider community involvement in fostering
sustainable economic, social and ecological development in the Minas Basin
Watershed. The Community Forum is free of charge and will consist of an Open house
