Seems to be working fine here, the only odd thing I've noticed is when someone is downloading from me when I right click on the file set I can see their nick but it's greyed out so I can't initiate a chat. Just noticed this in 1.3.4 or 5, can't recall which as the turnaround on both was pretty damn quick. Whoever mentioned a fast cycle on the revisions has a great idea. Breaks things down into smaller chunks to attack each one and lets you know that much sooner if you nailed it. Side benefit is it really shows the end users that you're serious and moving forward. Anyway, no big deal just couldn't remember if you'd disabled that or not while the chat code was being tweaked.
Think I'm going to do an FTP rampage this weekend and seed whatever I find.
The "Old and in the Way" show I grabbed from gdlive seems to have found some
fans, and as always Atlantis Audio never fails to have something I just
gotta have. Think that's where I snagged the August 22, 93 Dead show before
putting it online. Wish I had more bandwidth for more connections but
looking at speed issues and memory I don't think going past two would be
wise here.
With one connection outbound Furthur seems to run right around 22,000 k to
23,000 k for Mem Usage with a VM size of 27,248 k. Not positive on Win 2K
memory handling but if total memory consumption is the two combined it's a
pretty hefty chunk. Even if they aren't it sits right between Outlook and
Word for memory consumption. Word being the major hog with Furthur coming
in second.
Right now with a single outbound at 22.3 KB/Sec Furhur has the following
stats:
Mem Useage - 22,668k
Peak Mem Useage - 24,452k
VM Size - 27,168k
Paged Pool - 103k
Non Paged Pool - 100k
Handles - 443
Threads - 45
User Obj - 15
GDI Obj - 44
Later all,
Rob
