Get more memory it's cheap. One well place war or earthquake could change that. I use 256 and barely notice that furthur is a memory hog.
I'm also running win 2000 which may also help. Run NT 2000 or LINUX and use at least 256 MB of ram ($50 Canadian or $30 US)
The difference will amaze you.
