Hear hear! "Reuseable Code" is a nice idea, but as far as I'm concerned, its
on the heap of "yeah sure, buddy, whatever ya say" New Years Resolutions...

"I'm gonna lose 30 pounds"
"I'm gonna start exercising"
"I'm gonna write reuseable code"

Hahahah!

I don't believe in 'modular' reuseable code that you can refer to with a
simple CFMODULE. I do, however, fully believe in, and practice, ReCyClAbLe
code. Often, entire projects can be recycled into new items.

For example, I recently had to turn out a major app in 3 weeks (wrote Nat
about it, it wasn't totally rosy). I recycled an existing app, had to rewire
a lot of the business logic, but tons of the code just needed cosmetic
touchups. However, there was precious little code that could actually be
used 'As Is' from the previous app.

Of course, Steve would have had the app out in 5 days, but heh, I didn't
have enough whiteboards...

And I *did* get the app slammed out in 3 weeks. Alone. And while still
harassing everybody on this list! Hehehe...
