True and CFHosting has been very supportive of the lists and other resources
so getting more hardware/bandwidth shouldn't be any sort of problem. Truth
be told, they slapped an additional 256 meg into the box just recently and
they've been giving me basically unlimited bandwidth for a while now. If I
start working with them as a consultant I'll probably even get a pass on the
hosting charges. Add that to the free resources they're putting together for
the CFUGs (some free hosting) and for the CFIDG (CF International Developers
Guild) and you can see they're being great about it.
The issue is less the hardware than the software. I've written some great
mailing code to patch what I consider holes in post.office. I'd love to move
away from it but
1. Lyris costs $4,500
2. iMS dosn't have a finished listserver package.
I expect Howie'll have the listserver before I can get $4500 together. :)
