If you use Netscape Email, it has an option for looking at your email in a threaded mode. Works pretty well for reading this list in a threaded mode. Does not always work correctly, but it helps a lot.
There is an icon at the top left of the mail box, to the left of the subject column. Looks like 4 lines in a small graphic.
