Thanks Lee.

For any other newbies looking at the code I put in my examples, I've just noticed I
have a typo in my first example.

It should read

          fusebox.Circuits.child = "home/child"

and not

          fusebox.Circuits.child = "home.child"

John

Yes, John. The logical nesting is completely tie to the physical
nesting, although this will certainly be a hot topic for the
Standards-Committee-to-be.

        I'm a newbie to Fusebox3 and am currently building my first app.

        My question is, for settings to be inherited properly from a
"home" circuit, do child circuits have to physically be located in a
subfolder of the home circuit?

        For example, I understand that the following works fine:

                        fusebox.Circuits.home = "home"
                        fusebox.Circuits.child = "home.child"

        But would either of the following allow settings to be
inherited?

                        fusebox.Circuits.home = "home"
                        fusebox.Circuits.child = "child"

        or
                        fusebox.Circuits.home = "home"
                        fusebox.Circuits.child = "../child"

        Apologies if this has been asked before, I have scoured the
archives but couldn't find a definitive answer.
