I couldn't say for certain, John, not being a frequent IIS user, but I don't think that any web-server mapping would be relevant. If it were the operating system that had the mapping that might be a different matter. Symbolic links under Unix should work, for example.
Anybody else? See ya, LeeBB ----- Original Message ----- From: John Boyes another question on this: am I right in thinking that the use of virtual folders (e.g. in IIS) to map a folder which is not a physical subfolder of a website to e.g. mysite.com/child would similarly not allow for proper nesting? -----Original Message----- From: "Lee Borkman" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Yes, John. The logical nesting is completely tie to the physical nesting, although this will certainly be a hot topic for the Standards-Committee-to-be. LeeBB ----- Original Message ----- From: John Boyes <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> I'm a newbie to Fusebox3 and am currently building my first app. My question is, for settings to be inherited properly from a "home" circuit, do child circuits have to physically be located in a subfolder of the home circuit? For example, I understand that the following works fine: fusebox.Circuits.home = "home" fusebox.Circuits.child = "home.child" But would either of the following allow settings to be inherited? fusebox.Circuits.home = "home" fusebox.Circuits.child = "child" or fusebox.Circuits.home = "home" fusebox.Circuits.child = "../child" Apologies if this has been asked before, I have scoured the archives but couldn't find a definitive answer. ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [email protected] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?bUrFMa.bV0Kx9 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
