What webserver are you using? IIS and Apache have the URL info in different CGI variables, for IIS use CGI.path_info and for Apache CGI.request_uri. So if you changed web servers then that may be it... Or if you have IIS then do you have URLScan (I think it was URLScan) installed? I've heard that it messes with SES URLs if not configured correctly.
