I have upgraded an app to fb3 and everything works fine, but I need to
be able to toggle languages, which are being sent as fb2 ses variables.
What I want to do is transform the ses vars to the proper fb3 format and
reload the page.
Here is what my index page looks like:
<!--- set proper language var --->
<cfif isDefined("url.l")>
<cfset session.l = "#url.l#">

You could always build an application that builds FB3 files from the SQL
system tables. That is what I did. :)

We are working on a version of FB3 Forum Software that'll be ready for
launch pretty soon (a couple months) but its fully operational.
http://www.animex.com/interactive/mb/index.cfm
username: test45
password: test4
Its a little more robust/featured than FuseboxOpenForums and I expect to
charge some small fee for it when it does come out. (I'd be happy to
hear how much $$$ you'd be willing to shell out tho.)
One question has arisen and I'm not sure if its been addressed in
OpenForums: How do you want the user integration handled? Provide a
User/Member Handling Module and run dual logins on the site as many
forums offer now..... or offer a way to "hook" into an existing
membership/login system?
Sincerely,
Ben Koshy

There are some instructions in the install.txt file that was included in
the source code to allow you to "hook" into an existing system.

We are working on a version of FB3 Forum Software that'll be ready for
launch pretty soon (a couple months) but its fully operational.

Sincerely,
Ben Koshy

We're using the FuseboxOpenForums over at www.LoungeRoyale.com.
What I ended up doing was setting the forums up in their own directory
then modifying the dsp_layout to include our design elements. So I
didn't do any path mods either, just linked into the directory.

Greetings,
would there be any good documentation on best practices when using verity
and FB3.0 together,
I have used verity before indexing directories that contained static html
files, and just wondering if
there has to be a work around when using Fusebox.
respectfully,
john
