Hi,

[by advance, sorry if I'm feeding a venerable troll ;)]

As far as I understand, the Debian packaging was maintained in a Bzr repository back from when FF was using SVN.

Now FF switched to Git, and I've found in painful in the past months to use Bzr. The initial checkout was pretty huge and slow, it requires new contributors to understand both Git and Bzr, and we can't use optimizations (like having a single working directory pulling from both repos). (Plus, at Inria I've even seen the Bzr repository converted back to Git, meaning pulling changes from the FF Git master is nearly impossible ;))

So what do you think about migrating fusionforge-deb-packaging to Git?

Cheers!
Sylvain
