I see it now, the actual call for the ext. db was in the OnRecordStart callback... which would be pulled on every record.

The answer was just the opposite of what you were thinking.
I needed to take the OpenXDF - RewardsList_XDF = OpenXDF(textpath + "Rewards.txt", "\t"); and move it to the JS Globals. Where I had it in the OnJobStart was causing to open on every
record.
