Well, I don't think there is a solution
based on capitalist market economy.
For survival, capitalist enterprises have to grow 
and have to produce 
more and more return for the investors.
This process fails if taxes and brakes are applied
in the name of social and environmental justice.

Therefore  only a collectively owned,
controlled and planned economy can deliver the economic security
that is envisaged with "basic income" and similar projects.
Not to mention the added bonuses of stopping the tremendous
wastes of non-human centred production (arms) competition, marketing,
banking etc.
