Arthur,

I can't - and there is the problem.

Perhaps that's why we are in such a mess.

We are in a mess, aren't we?

Dream on Harry. Name a case where the market has played a role in energy

Arthur,

I enjoyed the full transcript too. I must look at Moyer's programs. I used
to, but have fallen out of the habit.

As I read all this stuff, I realize how we have lost the capacity to choose
the right direction. If we could remove all the subsidies and special
deals, so energy choices would return to the market, we might find a number
of feasible alternatives to our present methods.

But, we need the impartiality of the market. We certainly can't trust the
politicians to make the choices. Nor, I fear, can we trust a lot of people
who are supposed to be scientists, but are really anything but altruistic.
