Karen,
Perhaps we interpreted Alison Gopnik differently but I understood her to be
talking about the importance of taking care of our very young children in
order to secure our future. I didn't think she was talking about
popularizing science.

It's always interesing, isn't it, the way we all interpret things
differently.
