One thing may have to change. A portion of
the CBC news last night dealt with the enormous death toll in France because of
the heat in August, the month in which a large proportion of the
French workforce takes holidays. What people who were interviewed
identified as a huge factor in the death toll was the absence of health
professionals. I guess it would really depend on whether the August heat
wave was an exceptional event or whether it was part of a trend.
