Yes, to rectify this I ran sys-unconfig and reset the character set to 7 bit ascii
There's probably a better way of doing this rather than running sys-unconfig but at the time, I was in a hurry to complete an install. -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Hal Dorsman Sent: 10 April 2003 16:47 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [FW-1] Motif GUI fonts? This may be a question for a Solaris group, but I was hoping maybe someone here has seen this. I have the Motif GUI running on Solaris 9 workstation (NG 3). Everything is rock solid but I am having problems with my fonts in the SmartDashboard. All of the window fonts are fine (menu, toolbar, tab captions etc), but the fonts in my rulebase for my network/node objects, services, actions, track etc. are all too large and if I have more than one object stacked in a "cell", half of the font is chopped off and difficult to read. Resizing and selecting different font sets in my CDE manager has no effect. Anyone seen font scaling problems in the Motif version? Thanks.
