iPass is nothing more than a glorified windows DUN profile manager. It uses a standard windows dial-up connection to actually make the connection.
You can either use Office Mode on securemote and give it the internal DNS ip addresses. This way you will have both iPass's DNS and your own DNS servers when SecuRemote is connected. Clients without SecuRemote will have iPass's only Or (untested) You can try modifying iPass's dial-up connection with your DNS servers. I am just wondering how people are getting this configured out there as the Ipass guys in the UK seem to be clueless! I basically want my users to be able to dial up onto the Internet as usual and browse, etc. I would then like a certain number of users, mainly admin staff to be able to fire up the VPN client and connect into the network... which is not a problem. The problem obviously lies with the DNS and resolution of internal names, client suffixes, etc. I have heard there is some way that the SR client can overlay DNS settings upon connection.. is this true? Any ideas/guidance would be appreciated.
