I noticed your post earlier this month and wondered if you had found a solution? I currently use the AT&T dialer because it allows me to statically map WINS and DNS where iPass is dynamic every time.
If you found a solution I would be most interested in it. I would love to move away from AT&T towards iPass. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, June 10, 2003 4:56 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [FW-1] Securemote and Ipass Is anyone using SecuRemote with Ipass? I am just wondering how people are getting this configured out there as the Ipass guys in the UK seem to be clueless! I basically want my users to be able to dial up onto the Internet as usual and browse, etc. I would then like a certain number of users, mainly admin staff to be able to fire up the VPN client and connect into the network... which is not a problem. The problem obviously lies with the DNS and resolution of internal names, client suffixes, etc. I have heard there is some way that the SR client can overlay DNS settings upon connection.. is this true? Any ideas/guidance would be appreciated.
