Having problems creating VPN configuration to a non Checkpoint device. System info: Checkpoint FW1NG FP3 Model: IP300 Software Release: 3.5.1-FCS6 Software Version: releng 963 03.12.2003-021500
VPN connection is between the above FW running on NOKIA IP330 and non-Checkpoint device. External VPN device has been created as an 'Interoperable Device'. Attempting to configure the VPN properties via Traditional Mode and selecting 3DES, MD5 and Pre-Shared Secret. After selection OK at the end of device configuration the Smart Dashboard Client hangs and after a period of time displays the following error in dialog box. Incorrect reply from server. Command: 'cert-query' The Smart Client then disconnects and shutsdown. Have not found this specific error in any forum searches. Please advise what additional information is required and any tips appreciated.
