I would check for errors on the interface (maybe it's a speed/duplex issue)

Subject: [FW-1] Running program through mapped drives is slow

Hi All,

I'm currently running Checkpoint NG FP3 on windows 2000.

On my local machine I have a drive mapping to a server in a DMZ. When I
try to run a program from the mapped drive it will take about 3 minutes
to start up.

As a test I took another machine in a different DMZ, mapped a drive and
ran the same program. It took about 5 seconds.

I ran fw monitor on both instances. On the Local -> DMZ monitor, I
captured over 4000 lines.

On the DMZ1 -> DMZ2, I captured 113 lines.

Does anyone have and ideas?

Thanks,

Joe
