A new virus is spreading via msn messenger (read all about it at http://www.pandasoftware.com/virus_info/encyclopedia/overview.aspx?idvir us=43211)
We are using msn messenger for work, but have no need for the file transfer feature. So I tried removing the file transfer service from the allowed rules. Apparently, it had no effect what so ever, and my only guess is that since the messenger is configured to connect via our proxy server, then the file transfer happens like that as well. Any ideas how to block messenger file transfer for all hosts while allowing all other messenger services? ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
