Hi, I've sent this before but for some reason it didn't show up, so don't get mad at me for double posting...
On FP4 R55 installed on SecurePlatform, the backup command doesn't have the argument it had in prior versions. The argument you used to tell it to backup all, or system or cp. You can only specify a name for the backup file, and where to back it up to (scp, tftp or local). Does this mean that it backs up everything? Or only one of the prior options? How do I tell? I've also noticed that there's a backup_start application, that has the same syntax as the old backup command. Is it safe to use? Does it require doing cpstop before and cpstart afterwards? I really need your help, cause I want to backup my checkpoint fw in the best way. Thanks. ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
