If you are willing to wait for Compaq to replace your part, thats great, Im
not.  100% Equal components are not always necessary also.

        Same thing here.  The one thing about running compaqs in
production, or any
        proprietary hardware solution, is that its not easy to
        swap parts out in a failure like with a generic INTEL box.
