Hi all, I see your email in phoneboy.com and I would like to ask you a question about an issue with SmartCenter. Now I have a W2k box with Smartcenter NG AI HFA404 and it is not possible to connect with the GUI Client. I tried it from the localhost and from a remote host and it is not possible. It seems that the service is not working properly and it appears a window with the next message: "Connection cannot initiated. Please, make sure that th server '192.168.20.4' is up and running and that you are defined as a GUI client." This issue started when I uninstalled old version (4.1 SP5 and SP6) of Checkpoint because this box was a Management server. I suposed that old version were not necessary and I uninstalled. Do you know any way to return to the old instalation? Is there any way to solve the actual problem and work without the old versions?
