before you move to SPLAT keep an eye on the hardware recommendations. In case you get in trouble, you won't get any support from Check Point if you don't use the recommended and supported hardware. We went through such a scenario and we ended up in using RedHat Linux at that time. :-)Horst

Why don't you move over to SPLAT? The export/import with SPLAT is simplicity, and you won't have to worry about OS patches any longer.
