Hi Hal, Thanks for the reply. You mentioned the use of 2 different ISPs. My specific problem is that my client actually has only 1 ISP and 2 different links connected to 2 separate routers.
They don't want to be vulnerable to a router failure. I've been doing a little research and a friend told me that I could use ISP redundancy in CP so that I can have 2 Default Gateways. Is this true? Do a search on BGP in your favorite search engine and you will find enough stuff to make you woozy. You will need to work with your providers and have them coordinate an autonomous system (AS) number for you, and you will need a pretty beefy router capable of handling a HUGE routing table.
