It's a distributed setup. Management station is a Sun Ultra 10 running Solaris 8 and the enforcement point in a Nokia IP500 series running IPSO 3.6. Installed checkpoint on the management station without any problems. When I attempt to connect to the management station with the GUI on a Windows 2000 Profession I get the following error: "connection cannot be initiated, make sure server is up and running" I can ping and telnet to the management server from the GUI PC. I also checked the Management server and it is listening on port 18190. Any ideas? ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
