Hi, I read you note and I have someting similar, the problem was the hardisk on the Nokia Appliance, but be careful running fsck can damage the HD, I do that because I don't find any cause of the problem, but after run that fsck was the last ting that I can see on that apliance, for my luck my appliance where in a HA configuration so nothig critical happen, so if you don't have HA, I recommend first prepara an emergency hardware just in case.
