Hello all!

I just wanted to post some info regarding the dual use of SR and Cisco's
vpn client on the same pc. We are using Securemote R56 as well as the
cisco VPN client (VPN5000), particularly RAS VPN PAL 4.31 for our
customers. We see issues connecting with SR when version R56 is used but
not when R55 is used. When one version of the client is being used,
whether cisco or SR, the other must be disabled in the network
properties, otherwise both fail. The errors that I see when using the SR
R56 is after authenticating with the firewall, the tunnel_test is sent
in the clear and thus is dropped by the firewall. We can create sites
normally but when connecting, once the unencrypted tunnel_test is sent
and dropped, all traffic ceases. For whatever reason, R55 does not have
the same issue. We were ablwe to back off to the older version and they
can connect fine. Has anyone found a fix for this or can point me in the
right direction to fix this?

Matt
