I have upgraded a few firewalls and managers to HFA_09 successfully. The only problem that I ran into was on SecurePlatform. I could not install it using the "patch add" command. No errors reported; though, when I rebooted and did an "fw ver" it still reported HFA_08.
If you experience this and need to get around it, install the package manually onto SPLAT. Unzip/Untar the package. Run install_hfa Do not install HFA_09 if you are running SNX (SSL Network Extender). Once installed, it runs stable. And it fixed the remote access VPN issue reported on this list a few weeks ago (see subject Beware HFA_08) that I witnessed on a few firewalls.
