Mostly the PIX use the CLI same as the router bases IOS, some PIX(s) have
GUI based configuration....such as HTTPS://ipaddress, they also have
Configuration Wizard and VPN Wizard...it is not that difficult.

Sal.

Subject: [FW-1] slightly off-topic: hard to configure PIX?

Hi,

I am supposed to work in a new project that contains some Cisco PIX
walls. Coming with only Checkpoint and Netscreen experience, what do you
think, is it hard to get into the PIX and understand it? I have used
Cisco Routers and know IOS...

Thanks,
Sascha
