That will be the IP address "YOU" will assign to the Cisco Pix. Step 1. take it out of the Box...
Step 2. Power on the PIX..... Step 3. Connect your Laptop to the PIX serial Interface Step 4. It will prompt you to assign an IP address on the Internal Interface, network Mask, etc. etc. Step 5. once the Internal interface has an IP address then connect your laptop there via Ethernet and HTTPS://Ipaddress you have assigned to it. I suggest that at least "you read the documentation that comes with the PIX"....more documents are found on www.cisco.com -----Original Message----- From: Sascha Picchiantano [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, November 10, 2004 9:45 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [FW-1] slightly off-topic: hard to configure PIX? hi, > PIX(s) have GUI based configuration....such as > HTTPS://ipaddress, they also have Configuration Wizard and what's the real address to this link? thanks, sascha ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] ================================================= ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
