Actually, I would like to know if there's a tool or script that can help me
to convert firewall's logs in to ASCII format without manually doing one by
one. I have a lot of old logs which is in 5MB each to convert to. Everytime
when the log files reaches 5MB the firewall will logswitch into a new file.
So, with a script/tool will greatly help me to convert in to ASCII format.

Thanks.

Hi,
I would like to export my Check Point NG AI logs automatically to
ASCII format without having to manually export it using
fwm logexport command. Is there a way to do this? I'm going to setup a
separate server which dedicated to keep all logs (not only from Check
Point) for storage and, most important for analysing purposes. For Check
Point's logs, I'm using fwlogsum to produce the reports from ASCII
formatted firewall logs after it converts from the raw log using fwm
logexport command.

Why not cron (unix) the command or use MS Scheduler to do it automatically? BTW, I'm using the "fw log <lofile> > <newlogfile>" command. Or am I mistaken in understanding in what you're asking here.
