I respectfully disagree with you... if we use your logic than we should be able to execute the command from anywhere..."I mean anywhere" including a PC that does not have any FW application installed.
[-y] [hostname] option is for to list only a specific host....instead of the complete list -----Original Message----- From: Jean-Christophe Valiere [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 09, 2004 12:25 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [FW-1] fw tab error I don't think so because $> fw tab -h $> Usage: fw tab [-t <table>] [-s | -c] [-f] [-o <filename>] [-r] [-u | -m <maxvals>] [[-x | -a] -e entry] [-y] [hostname] $> So it definitely says we can give a 'station'. I'm trying to make some stats on connections and would like to let the firewall with no extra packages or extra processe running on, so that's why I'am trying this from the management station. BTW, the CommandLineInterface.pdf documentation says that hostname could be a hostname or an IP. Does somebody where can we find more information about those command, because CP doc is not really usefull now Thx -- Cordialement, Best Regards, Jean-Christophe VALIERE [EMAIL PROTECTED] That is a command that can only be executed on the Firewall module and not on the Management server....possible? -----Original Message----- From: Jean-Christophe Valiere [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, December 09, 2004 9:06 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [FW-1] fw tab error I'm currently trying to get connections on the FW from the MGT but it failes even with IP or DNS name. -- Cordialement, Best Regards, Jean-Christophe VALIERE [EMAIL PROTECTED] The connection tables are at the FW not the MC. -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jean-Christophe Valiere Sent: Thursday, December 09, 2004 7:50 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [FW-1] fw tab error Hello, Let's me explain my problem : My Management station is located at: 192.168.2.2/24.
