I have a management station (no gateway installed) running Solaris 8 and Checkpoint NG-AI R54. I would like to upgrade to R55.
What is the correct procedure to perform such an upgrade. I would like to take every precaution (backup necessary files, etc) to ensure in the event I need to go back to R54, that I can cleanly. Also - Will I need to reset SIC on all my gateways managed by this gateway after the upgrade?
