I will second that point below... Last week I upgraded a NT box on 4.1 to Win20003 + NG r55 I used the upgrade.4.3.tgz utility to take the build to FP3 and then upgraded to R55. After all the work I could see the rule base, but as soon as I pushed a policy I could no longer connect to the system via the GUI, and ended up rebuilding the rulebase by hand. I only had one day scheduled offsite and it ended up taking two... Take the hit and do it the slow but reliable way it will save time...
