Hi

1. I would not recommend running the mds_backup script during
working hours because no GUI clients should be connected during
the backup. Better to script it some time during the night where
normally nobody is connected.

2. Yes. It does backup the whole MDS including CMA. Default is also
backup log files but you may or may not want that. Take a look at
the mds_exclude.dat file.

3. It will backup all directories. Not just conf/database/lib. So
why change it?  I see no reason atleast.

And remember: Always verify that the backup works before you finish
the implementation. :)
