Will check that tomorrow, firewalls are licenced, but the mgmt station is waiting.
Running in multicast mode with ipso 3.8 Sounds as though it may be the firewall object, you saying that... Thanks. Any more suggestions would be greatfully received. Are you running 3.8? Forward or multicast? -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Neil Kemp Sent: Thursday, February 10, 2005 4:03 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [FW-1] Errors with IPSO and turning on clustering with Firewall Monitoring Good evening, I did send this earlier, but thought I would add another couple of comments to see if anyone has any ideas whatsoever. It has been driving me a little bit mad today !! I have configured a couple of Nokia IP380's, four interfaces. Configured IPSO clustering successfully, and all comes up fine, although at the moment, I have Firewall Monitoring disabled. Configured the Checkpoint environment, as per the Nokia document, still works OK. As soon as I go back to edit the cluster, and turn on Firewall monitoring, it all goes wrong. The error message across the top of the screen comes back and says "Firewall Check Failed, Clustering requires firewall installed on each node" Searched everywhere, cant find any technote which might describe what the problem might be. I have also reduced it to a single node, clustering wise, but still get the same error, and unable to initialise the cluster, as before. Would appreciate any suggestions.
