Hi there, I am using R55 on my Win2k server (mgmt console). I am working on a perl script (Active Perl v5.8.6) that will switch (fw logswitch) the firewall log every day, and run the (fwm logexport) for me. When manually run the (fwm logexport) command, it generates "Starting... There are 234 log records in the file" message. I am wondering if there is a way to capture this message into my script. Or if not, at least a way to eliminate the message from being generated.
I don't have problem with (fw logswitch). Using the $_=`fw logswitch`, I can capture the log file name that has been switched to. But I am unable to do so with the fwm command. Any suggestions? Again, it is Firewall-1 SmartCenter R55 on Windows 2k server. Thanks in advance. ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
