Hi all! I just wanted to let you know that Object Filler and Object Dumper 2.0 are now released and available for (free) downloading from the following locations:
- http://www.phoneboy.com/bin/view.pl/FAQs/ObjectFiller - Thanks PhoneBoy! - http://lindos.dnsalias.com - Thanks Pedro Paixao! - http://www.lindercentral.com/ofiller/ - Thanks Brian Linder! - http://mhoz1.sofaware.net/ofiller/ - (unreliable server) File details Name: ofiller_2.0.tgz Size: 740,210 bytes. MD5 signature: B2E932ED54BC1465F97581270A664F9B For those of you that don't know the tools yet: - Object Filler is a tool that using dbedit, allows to import configuration files from other firewalls brands (Cisco, NetScreen/Juniper, SideWinder, Raptor, Gauntlet), reading relevant objects and in some cases rules information. Besides, is also able to take data from object lists on ASCII format, so for example an admin can define objects and/or rules on a spreadsheet, and then import that into SmartCenter easily. - Object Dumper does the opposite and dumps information (objects and rules) to a cSV format, so the information can be changed and imported back, for example. Version 2.0 includes much better documentation, as well as the long awaited support to services and (basic) firewall rules. Please be aware that these tools are not official in any way from Check Point Software, nor supported by anybody, including Check Point and/or the author. Please refer to documentation in the User's Manual included in the distribution file, if you would like to find out more on the tools, including usage syntax, limitations and known problems, scope of the tools, last features supported, solution to common problems, etc. Any feedback/suggestion/comment/bug report regarding the tool and/or the documentation are always welcomed and *strongly* encouraged... :-) Hope it can be useful for you, your customers and/or your partners - Enjoy! - Martn. ================================================= To set vacation, Out-Of-Office, or away messages, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the BODY of the email add: set fw-1-mailinglist nomail ================================================= To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================= If you have any questions on how to change your subscription options, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] =================================================
