Hello Mailing list users, Thank you all for replaying to my message I really appreciate your help. But I have more doubts about this process.
Does the Backup process affect in some way the rule base database (known bugs or something). The file obtain from this process have all the configuration from my FW-1??? After backing up the configuration is the a way to certify that all this settings are exactly the same as the ones that are installed on the FW-1??? Regards, PD: Attached to this email is an image that shows the Backup and Restore options from Voyager interface, rename it to .png. I don't know why this mailing list block images!. Kinda strange!. -----Original Message----- From: Mailing list for discussion of Firewall-1 [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chris McGill Sent: Tuesday, May 24, 2005 9:47 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FW-1] How to Backup all configuration from my Nokia IP350 "only problem i have seen is that you need anonymous write on the ftp server - unless someone else knows different?" set backup remote ftp-site ip_address ftp-dir path_name ftp-user name manual filename [ftp-passwd password] scheduled filename [ftp-passwd password] However, this is not going to solve the disk space limitation. If you have any old IPSO images or something you don't need I would remove.
