David,

I ran into a similar issue when I tried deleting a user. The solution
(after verifying the drive was not out of space) was to export the database
into a text file. Delete the user from the text file and then import it
back into the management station with a flag that overwrites current data.
If you need more specifics, do a search on the list archives. I posted the
commands needed in a response to another issue like this. Hope this helps,

Jerry

Hi everyone,

It's likely that has been covered before but I can't find the solution.
There are some user groups within SmartDashboard that I want to get rid of
as they are no longer required. Problem is that every time I try to delete
one SmartDashboard pops up with the following complaint....

"Internal Error [11] while handling object <group-name>. Failed to remove
references of object <group-name>. Please contact technical support"

... followed by an "OK" button.

When this happens the group disappears from the SmartDashboard view but
when logging into SmartDashboard again it reappears. Even though it's not
really needed I removed the group from everything before deleting it such
that when you query it with "where used" it says "object not used".

There was an old solution for this in the SecureKnowledge database but all
it said was to upgrade to NG FP2. I'm already on NG AI R55! Has anyone else
come across this really annoying problem?

Thanks!
