If you have a valid license you can call checkpoint tech support & get
this corrected.

Yes, I am getting a similar error when trying to update Smartdefense....
Mine is complaining about a subscription license...which we have and it
is
valid. I am sure Checkpoint changed something again....

Subject: [FW-1] Smart Defense Update Error

Hello:

I am getting the following error message when I attempt to update Smart
Defense from Smart Dashboard "Failed to update SmartDefense. Web Server
error". Just wondering if any body else has had a problem recently.
Previous updates earlier in the year were successful and I have not made
any
major changes to the firewall. I am running Check Point Version NG
with
Application Intelligence (R55) Build 127. My management server is
running
on a work station Windows 2000 Pro SP 4.
