I don't know if that's accurate or not; it's just where I found it.
Their new "Expert" designation in the SK certainly does agree with your
statement, though. I would have thought that a certification, like the Check
Point Certified Security Expert, would allow you access to those articles
but it doesn't. In any event, on the few times I've needed to see what an
"Expert" article said, I just called their support line and it was emailed
out or read to me over the phone.

That is "another thing" that really get me upset about Checkpoint....
Paying maintenance and software is not good enogh....now certain documents
are only available if you have a certification....
what are they going to ask next.....a donation of some sort?
Come on Checkpoint...enogh is enogh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are getting to greedy

OK, I found it and unfortunately it's in a section that's only accessible
if
you have a CP certification. Go into the Access Benefits section, Resources
and Technical Resources. Obviously I can't email it to anyone because of
where it's at, but I'm sure your reseller could get you a copy. It's titled
Backwards Compatibility and Cross Protections and is dated 01-apr-2005.
