I'm relatively new to the Checkpoint solution, so this might be a question
that seems obvious to some people. From my firewall itself, ver gives me
that I have Secureplatform NG with AI build 142. My management client
(Smartdashboard) tells me it's NG with AI R54 build 289. I'm assuming from
this that the firewall is actually R54, but I'm wondering the following:
I know it's a unix platform, does the version info on the firewall tall me
for sure that it's Splat ? For example, for downloading utilities from the
Checkpoint download site like Web Visualization, etc.
What would I need to get to upgrade to R55, and what benefits would I get
from this ? Is it something I'd need to purchase, or is it possible to
download it ?
